About
Through years of experience in the music industry (both in the US and abroad), Bob has gained much insight into what makes a song work. In the 3 areas of writing, production, and performing he has worked with well-known composers and producers, as well as lesser-known independent artists. Although he is socially aware and doesn't shy away from current trends, he brings a blend of old school and alternative music into the Postmodern Age. You can experience this blend of old with the new by listening to his album, "Along For The Ride." "Along For The Ride" features songs written by Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductees BUDDY BUIE/JR COBB of the Atlanta Rhythm Section/Classics 4/Roy Orbison fame and DANNY O'KEEFE singer-songwriter of his mega-hit "Good Time Charlie's Got The Blues" & "The Road" for JACKSON BROWNE. Producer/Keyboardist KENNY KIRBY of Sly & the Family Stone/Van Morrison & Linda Creed fame was recently honored by the Alabama Hall of Fame (in Muscle Shoals) as a "Music Achiever". Also featured are Sax man FRED VIGDOR of the Michael McDonald/Average White Band, Guitarist RICHARD "Dick" SMITH (Earth, Wind & Fire/Kenny Loggins) and another Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductee on Guitar RIC SEYMOUR (Wet Willie).
