Bebe Montoya
Portland, Oregon, United States
About
Bebe Montoya is an interdisciplinary artist & writer making music, zines and incoherent shrieking sounds in Portland, OR. She uses art to challenge herself and others to think impossible thoughts—to imagine personal, political and existential possibilities far beyond our current vantage points—and to advocate for compassion and hopeful pragmatism in the face of an oftentimes alienating world. Current projects include finishing her first EP, PAPER DOLL, and working on a new serial zine called HATEF*CK about the intertwined nature of desire & aggression.
