Beasts of the Intergalactic Rainforest
Chanute, Kansas, United States
About
In 2023, Beasts of the Intergalactic Rainforest emerged from the Kansas heartlands, a fusion of lifelong friends Stephen Adwell and Steven Rice's musical souls. Their journey began in sixth grade, blossoming into a progressive rock band that ventured from Chanute to Pittsburg, gracing stages with their harmonies. Despite diverging paths—Adwell drumming for Southerland Nights in Houston, Rice exploring solo artistry—their creative synergy endured. In 2023, digital collaboration bridged a 400-mile gap, birthing Beasts of the Intergalactic Rainforest, a fusion of synth rock with echoes of Incubus, Bad Suns, and Tame Impala. Their debut, crafted within AMR Studio, epitomizes sonic escapism, each track a portal to cosmic dimensions resonating with universal emotions. For Adwell and Rice, the band embodies the enduring power of creativity to inspire and uplift, guiding souls through life's complexities with the promise of transcendence through melody.
