About

Bansith is an alternative metal band based in Sheffield, with a lineup consisting of: Tasha Collins (vocals) Sam Graham (drums) Benji Garton (guitar) The sound of Bansith is defined by a blend of heavy guitar tones, rich synths and soaring vocals. They float from punchy riffs and breakdowns to ethereal synth-led atmospheres, all while presenting a critical view of the world today. Their debut album Final Lullaby (2022) was made as a DIY university project between founding members Tasha and Sam. The album is conceptually themed around apocalypse and explores issues that make the world feel like it is ending. Within their first year of gigging they made it to the final of Sheffield's Metal 2 The Masses competition, nearly earning themselves a performing slot at Bloodstock Festival. Soon afterwards, they released a dynamic new single, Twist the Knife, with a music video. In 2024 they re-recorded their album in a professional studio, rebranding it as The Final Lullaby. They released singles Mother, Divided, 350 Million and Opium, all with music videos, before the album was released in August. They then put on an album launch headline gig at Corporation, Sheffield, playing The Final Lullaby in its entirety. Now in 2025, with many gigs under their belt and new material in the works, Bansith have established themselves as an exciting and prolific contributor to the UK grassroots metal scene. Their live show promises to bring energy, intrigue and plenty of apocalyptic dread.
