About
Brooding and moody Indie/ Alt/Folk/Rock. Hosting a plethora of sounds, including doomy, dynamic, haunting, ethereal, melodic, folky, emotive, intense, psychedelic and retro tones. Starting as a recording project between Fletcher Pearce, vocals and guitar, and Tula Gartmayer, vocals and bass in the trepid hues of the pandemic, using a rip off 808 drum machine and a 16 track recorder, the pair released 3 tracks together under the former formation, but were soon adorned by Max Valencia on drums, Tom Inkpen on guitar and James Virtue on bass; moving the band to its inevitable full incarnation. With sounds akin to Portishead, PJ Harvey, The National, The Felice Brothers, Radiohead, Led Zeppelin, Leonard Cohen, Jeff Buckley, Nick Cave, Foals etc
