Attics
Brooklyn, New York, United States
About
In 2006 brothers Meir and Natan Hamilton started writing songs together in Brooklyn. They recorded some early demos in the attic Noam Schatz (<a href="spotify:artist:1kNUAw8Cgn7Nuo3N5JBuVW" data-name="Mobius Band">Mobius Band</a>) converted into a lo-fi music studio, an experience which inspired the band’s name. After a few years honing their sound with a live group, most of the band members including Natan left to pursue other projects. With a new focus on writing and recording, Meir turned to Schatz, Joshua Schapiro, and Jeremy Steckel to record their debut EP <a href="spotify:album:1IUW48fw8mEUQ6ILt5ONIf" data-name="Time Is Falling">Time Is Falling</a> (2013). In the years since, Attics has continued to release new music regularly with occasional help from other musicians along the way.
