About
Rock band Amateur Hockey Club combine 90s alternative carpool hooks with contemporary emo songwriting into a sound that’s equal parts Third Eye Blind & Hot Mulligan. Their lyrics explore the always-progressing but never-ending quest for place and purpose, with a healthy dose of irony and good natured self-degredation. Following their 2020 EP “Figure Myself Out ” and their 2022 single series produced by RJ Demarco, the band has released a series of self-produced singles in 2024 & 2025. Pumping fresh blood through an updated lineup, these new songs have quickly become live staples and favorites of the band’s fans, “AHC Nation.” In March 2021, Amateur Hockey Club collaborated with LeestaVall Sound Recordings for an unique straight-to-vinyl live session. The band has brought their energetic live show to stages in Buffalo, Rochester, Fredonia, & Erie PA, including a main stage performance at 2022’s Music is Art festival.
