About
Amanda Kind’s soulful brand of country is a blend of contemporary and classic - think Martina McBride meets Patsy Cline. With a soaring range and captivating vocal agility, her debut EP “The Good Fight” is a versatile collection of songs about being true to yourself and love lost and found including “Love Used To Live Here,” “Slow Dance,” (peaked at #1 on the SiriusXM Top of the Country chart), “Rebel Spirit,” “Jumping Through Hoops,” “Distant Memory,” and the powerful title track. From festivals and theatres to intimate songwriter rounds and porch parties, Amanda performs on stages big and small. Alongside Stratford country singer James Downham, she's half of the CMAO-nominated Canadian country duo Amanda & James. Listen to their playful summer jam “Another Round,” their twangy cover of the Dirty Dancing hit "I've Had The Time of My Life," or their brand new heartrending ballad "Two Wrongs Don't Make A Right."
