Act of Nature

About

Act of Nature is an alternative duo from Ayr, Canada creating thought-provoking and melodic indie music. They consist of Laura Easson and Jordan James, who formed this dynamic band in 2020. They released their debut EP This Beautiful World in 2021, which features their singles Stop Being Like This and Cover Me. Their sophomore album, Who We Are, released in 2022 includes hits such as OKAY and We Don't Really See. Inspired by the fused influences of alternative, pop and rock - Act of Nature brings a fresh and striking perspective to their listeners. Laura Easson and Jordan James, two small-town Canadian singer-songwriters, bring forth impactful and idealistic lyrics stemming from their own common journeys on this earth. Laura has journeyed through life with music as a guide, using songwriting as a cathartic way to express the emotions she carries. Jordan James uses creative instrumentation to connect to his listeners by writing quirky ear candy that captivates and inspires. Together, they form a distinctly creative duo who love collaborating with other artists and find it gratifying to write music that speaks from their hearts to their audience. Act of Nature is currently in the studio once again. A new act, a new chapter, continuing their journey. Stay tuned!
