About
17 year old from Austin, Texas. Guitarist and vocalist for the alt rock band “Thunderous Bangs." In my solo work, I’ve explored a variety of different styles that weave genres of folk, rock, pop and even rap! I try to cover a lot of ground and keep it interesting with each new endeavor as I grow as a musician. My love for music began in elementary school as a part of the Barton Hills Choir directed by Gavin Tabone (golden eagles forever). I began writing songs in 2020, and grew close to the Austin music scene by attending open mics around town. I’d like to credit spaces for listening and learning such as the Cactus Cafe open mic hosted by Jake Farr, and the songwriter happy hour at the Hole in the Wall hosted by Ethan Azarian for fostering supportive communities that help songwriters hone their craft and share their skill. So far, my solo work consists of home sessions which have been completely recorded, mixed, written, and performed by myself, with the exception of occasional drum work done by my long-time guitar teacher and friend Gray Parsons. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with and / or featuring some of my talented friends on select songs. Recording at home has come with the goal of saving money (obviously) but also improving my skill as an audio engineer with each project I tackle.
