About
Whether you are cruising down your favorite sun-soaked city streets, walking underneath a cloudy night sky, or just passing time in the afternoon, A-Go-Go’s debut album, Today, Today will make a trusty companion. Stitching together over three years of friendship, the 5-piece based in Columbus and Chicago present a vibrant patchwork of 10 indie rock songs that stand on the shoulders of classic rock n’ roll, traditional country, and American folk. With introspective songwriting and an expansive sound, this freshman record is not only a testament to A-Go-Go’s musical craftsmanship but also as a distinctive portrait of coming of age in the Midwest. Today, Today feels like a roadtrip with your best friends— with your feet on the dashboard and an unending highway in front of you, it’s clear to see the destination is less important than time spent together. - Written by @thetelephonewireco
